Laying tiles begins from alignment of the floors, which is performed by dismantling unnecessary parts or by the device of screeds. In rooms with high humidity before facing, the floor is necessarily treated with waterproofing, which is allowed to dry well.
After preparing the facing surface, marking is made on it. If the dimensions of the bathroom do not allow the floor to be laid with whole tiles, they are cut in the required size, and then lay out in the friez rows – rows adjacent to the walls.
It is better to lay the tiles in the bathroom in the line of the straight line “seam to seam”, in which the floor cladding begins from the device of two adjacent frizes in the far corner of the bathroom. And they are already performing the laying of subsequent rows in the direction of exit from the premises. Be sure to ensure that all the tiles lie on the same level and have seams of the same thickness. To control the quality and horizontality of the cladding, the construction level is used, and the width of the seams is controlled using remote crosses. Do this with silicone sealant, which is squeezed out of the tube in excess and applied to the seam. Then it is moistened with warm soap water along with the adjacent surface of the tiles. Silicone’s remains are removed using plastic embroidery.
The final stage of lining of the floors of the bathroom is the grout of the seams, a special solution. Prepared solution, using a rubber spatula, fill the seams with diagonal movements. Then, on the surface, they are held with a wet well -squeezed sponge with light movements so as not to wash the fresh grout from the seams.
