In his youth, dry skin looks pleasant – delicate and smooth, thin and matte. In the future, with age, such skin, especially if it is not enough or misunderstood, loses its elasticity, becomes dry, peeling off, wrinkles.
Dry skin occurs due to weakening of the sebaceous glands, which may be the result of some disease, anemia, disturbed nervous system or poor metabolism. Also, the normal activity of the intestines and thyroid gland, the observance of the body vitamin balance is of great importance for the condition of the skin.
With dry skin, you need to carefully monitor the entry of vitamins into the body. Vitamins A, Group B, C, reduce stress influences, slow down the aging of the skin, strengthen the capillaries.
If you have dry skin from birth, then for it you need to make up for a lack of fat grease.
If dryness is associated with age -related changes, then in addition to replenishing skin fat, it is necessary to replenish the lack of moisture.
Therefore, it is very important to cleanse dry skin, while it should be borne in mind that it is easily delayed.
Cosmetologists recommend washing with cold water with dry skin or using toilet milk. It is allowed, instead of milk, to use fat soap – for example, lanolin, and even better – soap cream. Also, instead of soap, shaving soap creams are suitable.
For washing it will be useful to add a little apple cider vinegar or boric acid to the water (half a spoon on a glass of water).
The decoctions of calendula, trenches, aloe, alte, chamomile, peppermint, linen seeds are very good for washing dry skin. They are prepared like this: a tablespoon of grass is poured with a glass of boiling water and insisted for 15 minutes.
But hard water, do not use it for washing!
If the skin is too dry and peel off, for some time you do not need to use water and soap. Such skin is cleansed with slightly heated vegetable oil (sunflower, olive, apricot or peach) or emulsion cream. Diping a piece of cotton wool, they wipe the skin several times, after which the excess oil or cream is removed with a dry cotton wool. After the condition of the skin improves, it can be washed with a mixture of milk with water in a ratio of 2: 1.
Daily care of dry skin
Clean the skin at night. Cleaning creams, oils or synthesized soap for dry skin are suitable here, but it is best to clean with a soft milk containing, soothing and nutrients.
Cosmetic milk was washed off with warm water. If the water is hard, then after washing off, moisten a cotton swab toilet (non -alcoholic) face water and wipe the skin with delicate movements so that the remains of salts do not dry the skin.
After cleaning, the skin is applied to the skin rich in fats and moisturizing substances, cream. If the skin is already very dry, then under the night cream it will be good to apply a moisturizer (hydrogel).
In the morning, it is quite enough to refresh dry skin with warm water and/or toilet water for the face. Then you need to apply a day, light cream containing oils and moisturizers. By the way, such a day cream should contain light filters to protect the skin from light aging.
For dry skin care, products containing oil products (petroleum jelly, ceresin, ozokerite should not be used, since they create a dense film on the skin surface that prevents the restoration of the natural barrier.
For deep skin cleansing, use the most delicate means. Cosmetologists recommend used scrub for cleaning dry skin, once, in two to three weeks. In this case, scrubs with synthetic abrasives are best suited. For example, the jokes of the jokes are rounded, they are gently relaxed, and do not irritate the skin, since they do not have sharp edges.
