Many coloring compounds for finishing the plastered walls can be prepared at home. We offer you to experiment and prepare the “Swedish” composition.
In 3 liters of water, 580 g of rye flour are kneaded. Then, having boiled this mixture, you get a regular cluster. To get rid of lumps, the paste you need to strain through a small sieve. Then the solution is again placed on fire and added to the composition of equal quantities iron sulfate and sodium salt (260 g each). Boil, stirring constantly, until the crystals completely dissolve.
Then you need to add the same amount of iron berth (or mummy) into the mixture and mix well. Gradually pouring into the prepared solution the olifa or vegetable oil (hemp, linseed) in the amount of 240 g, mix until smooth. If the resulting solution is too thick, it should be diluted with water to a working density in an amount of not more than 4.5 liters.
The resulting paint will have a yellowish color, which gives it an iron sulfate. You can diversify the shades a little if the composition is introduced into the composition of the ocher’s iron, peroxide manganese or chalk with soot. But if these shades do not suit you, enter the pigment of the desired color into the colorful composition.
The disadvantage of the resulting “Swedish” composition can be considered its short storage. Therefore, do not cook this paint for the future. Do as much as you can use immediately after preparation. In the process of storage, such a paint thickens strongly, and you will have to dilute it again with water. And this will certainly affect the quality of the strength of the coloring composition.
